I remember an episode from The West Wing titled 365 Days. There was a scene that I think is most appropriate for the first day of the New Year. The Chief of Staff, Leo McGarry calls in the Senior Staff late at night and gave them a pep talk:

“Busy day around today…Problem is we’re running out of them.” (He walks to blackboard and wipes out 365 Days and writes 364 Days), “That’s how much time we have left. We have the ability to effect more change in a day in the White House than we will have in a lifetime once we walk out these doors. What do you want to do with them?

I guess the above scene will make more sense if you see the whole episode. But the big question is this: what do we want to do with the 364 days left in 2010?

Happy New Year.
