We do not care about Kim Kardashian!

Again the fickle Australian media and a minority of the demented Australian public go gaga over a media tart who is famous for being famous. Why is OPTUS flying this no body to Australia to promote its products? Who is this Kardashian? Why do we care? Why are a group of people going crazy just to meet this tart?

OPTUS: You fail badly. Your customer service is shocking, your products and services outdated and you are just as bad as Telstra. You have now brought this uneducated, untalented, imbecile of a tart over just to flog a product, goes to show just how much of an idiotic company you are with no vision or passion for what you do. Go on, show another ad with an animal.

Kim: You are hopeless. Go home.

Australia: Wake up.

    Nice rant… You may not care about her but thousands disagree. Right or wrong they are selling handsets with a specific demographic in mind. What better way to promote a phone built around a social media UI than with someone who all the kiddies are in a frenzy over, just look at their facebook profile. You say it’s lame, I say it’s good business, the penguins will be laughing all the way to the bank.

    Thanks Steve. Yeah I totally agree with you. If I was OPTUS I would do the same and exploit it till the cows and penguins come home with the money. But since I am not, just wanted to rant about the stupidity and fickle nature of the public who will buy this product just because some cow is flogging it. But its the demographic in question. Yes it good business sense, but it really does not help to advance the human condition. I guess business does have a responsibility in that regard. Maybe they do not. I guess the only thing they can say is: no penguins were harmed in the making of this commercial.
